Our last meting before thursday (set up the exhibition) is on Wed 23rd June at 11am at Greenwich same place as last friday
I would like you to bring
1. Final or almost final presentations for the Celebration event in Whitachapel gallery
2. Any videos, that the screens will have (3d logo, stereoscopic views etc)
3. The blog presentations for the screens

I would really appreciate if you all turn up on time, as it is really crucial our last meeting

Dear ALL,

The meeting will take place at GREENWICH Campus, as today, and
NOT at Somerset house.

I will explain to you tomorrow in more details.

Can you please make sure that you are all in on time 10am. at the Under-croft Cafe as today (QM Bulding, basement)
I am not sure if everybody have access to the email so can you please inform each other.

Somerset House

Tomorrow at 10am, although probably a bit before would be better. I get to go on a train so packed that people turning pages of papers will give me paper cuts. I love London.

No Changing

Basically there's no more changing of the brandbook unless it is a mistake on the scale of Neville Chamberlin getting off that plane after meeting with Hitler and declaring there would be peace in our time.

Alex needs the time to put it in to the flash template for the exhibition next week.

We've been correcting it for the last few weeks now and there can't be any major mistakes left. If it still says Empahsise rather than Emphasise though I may break the screen.

In today's meeting today we decided on a presentation Style.What we need now is to finalise all the information, graphic and materials to be used. All this has to be done before tomorrow's meeting at Summerset House.Everyone is to be present except for people that are out of the country on holiday.

New Way of Hosting the Brandbook

stickersss

Right guys...

i've been thinking about the exhibition and how to find a simple but at the same time impressive way to display our things.

I came up with the idea of stickers. Huge stickers from side to side of the wall and from top to bottom (or almost)...
That way we could basically display the process with a sort of timeline infographic thing (one for both group, with two distinctive colours so that its understandable who did what) and also display the pages of the brandbook on the wall, without having to print and bind a real book.

Now, if so, we have to get this stickers done. Me and Frazer thought about The Colourhouse in london...we just have to give them a call and ask (prices etc)...
The hardest bit is to design the infographic now.

Let me know if there's anything i can do from here...

OH...here's an example of what i mean with stickers...
it's a friend of mine's final degree show (milan)...each of them had a screen and they had to design the space around their screen only using black stickers...
soo...something like that...

For the meeting today we discussed more in-depth about the how we are going to exhibit our work. Basically what we found out today is that we need more ideas and concept. This has to been done by Thursday so that we can decide on one and then pass the equipment list to Anastasios. Also we need to create a group time line of our work process this is to be uploaded by tomorrow at 12 so Anastasios can see it.

Just incase no one has seen it, since his emails no longer auto-forward and I haven't been able to log in to the uni email for the past four days.

Dear all,
Can we please meet tomorrow to discuss your ideas for the exhibition.

Time is almost over, and we have to produce prints, order screen etc.
Exhibition is in 9 days

Exhibition inspiration

For those who couldn't attend the last meeting...

Exhibition
  • Our exhibition starts from 24th
  • We need to work with other group as we share the same space with them
  • We need to show the process of our design (some kind of time line)
Presentation
  • We have presentation at Whitechapel Gallery on 25th
  • As far as I know, there is no projector or screen in the room, so we need to find a way to present our work. (print?)
  • Presentation will be approximately 20 min
  • Audience: The clients, the principle of college, people from Sorrell foundation

Other
  • Everything needs to be done by 22nd
  • We can claim all the expense on 25th, when we have the presentation. Put all the receipt in an envelop.
  • The placement form should be submitted at the same time.

The meeting today with Anastasios was basically about what is going to happen in the coming week and how to prepare ourself.
On the 25th of this month we are to present our work at E1 7QX
On 24 - 28 this month we have the new blood exhibition
Also we talked about our ideas from Wednesday meeting , majority disagree with it which means we need to think of another way of exhibiting our work.

Main focus was on the exhibition presentation. we discussed mainly able how we are going to present our work for the exhibition, what element we would like to use and the message we are sending to the viewers.
Three ideas were chosen, which will then be pitched to the other group to see how we combine the two exhibition presentations.

Exhibition presentation meeting

Can we actually have a meeting before Friday to get some ideas for how to present at the exhibition? As this is something us 3Ders could actually do (as so far our apparent contribution is nothing)
If we need to have final designs in PDF; I assume for the exhibition; I would like to be able to get a mock up to show that we can contribute our specific skill set
Preferably sooner rather than later in the week...
